CARMINE ZAYOUN
President & Founder of Latitude Homes
Carmine Zayoun is the President of Latitude Homes and has been building a comprehensive portfolio of successful real estate projects in both Canada and the United States for the past decade.
An engineer by training, Mr. Zayoun joined the Heafey Group as an asset manager in 2012, where he spearheaded the successful turnaround and sale of a winery near Niagra Falls. He then relocated to Miami, driven with the explicit assignment of growing his company's South Florida presence and taking advantage of its incredible real estate opportunities.
Since 2013, Mr. Zayoun has overseen the construction and development of over $400 million in real estate assets throughout the State of Florida, Ottawa and Gatineau - including the acquisition of stunning Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, the purchase and development of the historic Miami Women's Club, and the purchase and development of several high performing multi-family communities in Orlando and Jacksonville.
In Canada, he has been involved in the development of various real estate projects including Le Viu, W/E, Everest Heights, Forest Heights, and Hazeldean Crossings. All of which are located in Ottawa and Gatineau.
After first commencing undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa in biopharmaceutical sciences, Mr. Zayoun pursued his B.Sc.A. in civil engineering, which he completed in 2010. Upon discovering his profound interest in the business world, and particularly in the real estate sphere, Mr. Zayoun graduated at the University of Ottawa.
STEVE HEAFEY

Steve Heafey joined the Heafey Group in 2000 after practicing law and working as the manager of a private real estate investment firm in Montreal, Quebec. Within the Heafey Group in Canada, Steve Heafey is in charge of legal affairs and also provides support on acquisitions, financing and development files. His experience allowed him to develop expertise in the fields of commercial law, commercial leasing and regulatory practices.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa where he received a law degree in 1995, Steve Heafey also holds an MBA from the University of Montreal's business school (HEC Montreal). Mr. Heafey is also the face of the group with regard to its social responsibilities and philanthropy matters. In the past 15 years, he has sat on the board of directors of several local non-profit organizations.
